Steph Jeavons, traveller and adventurer speaks on cultures and communication.

Steph achieved a world record by becoming the first person to circumnavigate the globe and ride a motorcycle on all seven continents. It was a four year solo journey on a tiny budget through 53 countries and covering 75,000 miles.

In March 2015, having ridden through Europe, Asia and Australia she persuaded a small sailing yacht to let her join the crew on an expedition across the notoriously rough Drake Passage. After a week of seasickness and iceberg alerts, we lowered the bike into a small zodiac inflatable and precariously navigated through the icy waters to the shores of Antarctica, before hitching a ride home on a Russian Ice Breaker!

Steph suffered heat exhaustion in Iran, got hit by a landslide in India and hit by a truck in Colombia. She has been to the wettest, driest, hottest and coldest places on earth and ridden the highest motor-able road in the world. All this because of a dream she had kept hold of in her early twenties during some really tough times.

Steph is currently planning her next expedition which will be to guide the first group of all women bikers to Everest Base Camp in 2019. She speaks at events all over the world.

“Great to hear such an open, honest, genuine and entertaining speaker. She had some powerful messages for us and communicated in an engaging & genuine way.”

“Great to hear from a speaker who hasn't been shaped by the corporate world - genuinely diverse compared to most of us!”

“I enjoyed hearing about Steph’s adventures of the past 4 years.  The presentation itself was more casual in its delivery, less corporate which added to its entertainment.  I took away some clear messages on how to face future challenges.”

“A very enjoyable presentation, full of inspiration. It clearly demonstrated diversity and inclusiveness...and how to overcome some difficult challenges.  An incredible life experience, what a brave lady!”

Lois Price of the Adventure Travel Film Festival:

Steph's presentation is an excellent blend of hardcore adventure, good humour, philosophical and practical advice, plus the odd saucy joke. What more could you ask for? She had the audience gripped with her incredible stories, and superb images and videos. Highly recommended.

Harold Olaf Cecil of Giant Loop:

It was a pleasure having Steph Jeavons come to Bend, Oregon to present her travels to an enthusiastic crowd of riders, travelers and adventurers. We received 100% positive feedback from the audience, and several people have expressed how inspired they are to venture farther outside their comfort zones after hearing Steph speak. Steph's presentation strikes an excellent balance, being both entertaining and informative. Giant Loop highly recommends booking Steph Jeavons for your event!

Lisa Shackelford, Show Coordinator, Timonium Motorcycle Show, Baltimore:

I had the pleasure of meeting Steph Jeavons at the 2016 Timonium Motorcycle Show, held in Timonium, Maryland, February 12th, 13th & 14th. The show has the reputation of being one of the largest, most diversified bike shows on the east coast. She was an important part of our second annual Expanded ‘Travel, Touring & Adventure Feature Area’ which consisted of the international ‘who’s who’ of long distance adventurers…sharing stories, tips and support to many of our two wheel enthusiasts who were ready to take their short trips to the next level!

I communicated with Steph over a 6 month time frame, via emails, to organize her needs (i.e. travel, hotel accommodations and details of her presentation, etc.) while at the show for the three days. She was organized, detailed and delightful to work with!

She helped make the ‘Travel, Touring & Adventure Feature Area’ another huge success! Her presentations, describing her travels, held our attendees in their seats and hanging onto every word. She was fun, professional and interacted with the audience at the stage and in her booth all three days from open to close.
