THE STORY BEHIND NOMADIC KNIGHTS.

I’m Alex Pirie, your motorbike guide for the tours and I am the founder and owner of Nomadic Knights.

Growing up in Scotland, I used to dream of a different life, a life which could combine my passion for motorbikes, my love of adventure and all things mechanical. People thought I was crazy.

But throughout all the years of learning my trade as a motor mechanic, getting involved in motorbike racing and even holding the position of Managing Director for a telecoms company, that dream never left me. I couldn’t help feeling that there was so much more to life.

Nomadic Knights is the result of that passion.

I fell under the spell of my beautiful Indian wife and relocated to India in 2008. It was the best decision I've ever made. Now I spend my days sharing the history and treasures of these fascinating countries with people who want to meet themselves on the road and discover their own piece of heaven. I’ve taken hundreds of people with me on our motorbike adventures - the holiday of a lifetime - riding and exploring from the snow capped Himalayas in the very north to the shimmering beaches of the Arabian Sea in the south.

Everyone is changed by adventure. Some have laughed, a few have cried, most have come back for more... will you join us for the ride of your life?
